In early 2024, while painting in my small Brooklyn studio, I ran out of table space for my brushes. Looking around, I spotted a scrap piece of wood, drilled some holes into it, and clamped it to the edge of my table.
After months of using the object, and of fellow artists commissioning one, that spontaneous solution evolved into the start of AKZ.tools
